Arganil, officially known as the Town of Arganil, is a town and municipality located in the Coimbra District of Portugal. It serves as the administrative center for its surrounding region.
As of the 2011 census, the municipality covered an area of 332.84 km² with a population of 12,145 residents. The local government is currently led by Mayor Luís Paulo Costa of the Social Democratic Party, and the community observes its municipal holiday on September 7.
