Vinhais, officially known as the Town of Vinhais, is a municipality located in the district of Bragança in northern Portugal. It serves as a regional administrative center within this area.
As of the 2011 census, the municipality had a population of 9,066 residents. The territory covers a total area of 694.76 square kilometres, which is approximately 268.25 square miles.
