Fafe, officially known as the City of Fafe, is a city and municipality located in the northern district of Braga in Portugal. It covers an area of approximately 219.08 square kilometres (84.59 mi2) and serves as a regional center within its district.
As of 2021, the total population of the municipality was 48,502, while the city itself recorded a population of 15,703 in 2011. The local government is currently led by Mayor Antero Barbosa of the Socialist Party. The municipality observes its official holiday on May 16.
