Esposende is a city and municipality situated in the Braga District of Portugal. It officially gained its city status on July 2, 1993. The municipality covers an area of 95.41 km² and had a recorded population of 34,254 in 2011.
The city is notable for its location along the Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago, a popular pilgrimage route. Its municipal holiday is observed annually on August 19.
