Aljustrel, officially known as the Town of Aljustrel, is a town and municipality located in the Beja district of Portugal. It serves as the administrative center for its surrounding region, which covers a total area of 458.47 km2.
As of the 2011 census, the population of the municipality was recorded at 9,257 residents. The local government is currently led by Mayor Nelson Domingos Brito, who was elected representing the Socialist Party. The town observes its official municipal holiday on June 13.
