Águeda is a city and municipality located in Portugal. It is situated within the Baixo Vouga Subregion and serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding area.
According to the 2011 Portuguese census, the municipality of Águeda covers an area of 335.27 km² (129.45 sq mi) and had a total population of 47,729 inhabitants. The city proper recorded a population of 14,504, with the remaining residents distributed across 11 parishes.
