Jabalia, also spelled Jabalya, is a city located in the Gaza Strip within the Palestinian Territory. It is situated in the North Gaza Governorate, approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) north of Gaza City.
The city municipality includes the town of Nazla, which was formerly an independent village council before merging with Jabalia, as well as the Jabalia refugee camp. According to data from the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the population of Jabalia was 172,704 in 2017.
