Szczecinek is a historic city located in the Middle Pomerania region of northwestern Poland. It serves as the administrative capital of Szczecinek County within the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The city covers a total area of 48.63 square kilometres and had a population of more than 40,000 residents as of the 2011 census.
