Świdwin is a town located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland. It serves as the capital of Świdwin County and functions as the administrative seat of Gmina Świdwin. The town is situated within the historic region of Pomerania on the left bank of the Rega river.
Geographically, Świdwin is positioned approximately 100 km east of the regional capital, Szczecin, and about 44 km south of the Baltic coast at Kołobrzeg. As of 2018, the town had a recorded population of 15,725 residents.
