Cedynia is a historic town located in western Poland. It serves as the administrative seat of Gmina Cedynia within Gryfino County, situated in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The town is positioned near the Oder river and the border with Germany.

The settlement is historically significant for its association with the Battle of Cedynia in 972. This event is recognized as the first historically recorded battle involving Poland.
