Olecko is a town located in northeastern Poland within the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It is situated in the Masuria region, positioned near the cities of Ełk and Suwałki.
The town serves as the seat of Olecko County. Geographically, it is situated at the mouth of the Lega river, which flows into the southwestern shore of Great Olecko Lake.
