Waśniów is a village located in south-central Poland within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. It serves as the administrative seat of Gmina Waśniów and is situated in the historic region of Lesser Poland.
The village is positioned approximately 14 km (9 mi) west of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and about 43 km (27 mi) east of Kielce, which is the regional capital. It is located within Ostrowiec County.
