Stopnica is a town located in Busko County within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in south-central Poland. It serves as the administrative seat for Gmina Stopnica.
The town is situated in the Lesser Poland region, positioned approximately 17 km east of Busko-Zdrój and about 55 km southeast of Kielce, which is the regional capital.
