Staszów is a town located in southeastern Poland within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. It serves as the capital of Staszów County and is situated approximately 54 kilometres southeast of Kielce and 120 kilometres northeast of Kraków.
The town covers an area of 26.88 square kilometres and is home to a population of 15,108 as of 2010, making it the eighth largest urban center in the province. The local geography is defined by two rivers, the Desta and the Czarna Staszowska.
