Pińczów is a town located in southern Poland within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. It serves as the capital of Pińczów County and is situated approximately 40 km (25 mi) south of Kielce. The town belongs to the historical region of Lesser Poland and is positioned in the valley of the river Nida.
As of 2018, the population of Pińczów was recorded at 10,946. It remains a significant administrative center for its county within the regional geography of southern Poland.
