Pacanów is a town located in Busko County within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in southern Poland. It serves as the seat of Gmina Pacanów and is situated in the historic region of Lesser Poland, approximately 25 km east of Busko-Zdrój and 62 km southeast of Kielce.

The town is sometimes referred to as the European Capital of Fable. In modern times, it is notably recognized for its connection to the fictional character Koziołek Matołek. As of 2003, the population of Pacanów was recorded at 1,137 residents.
