Ożarów is a town located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship province of Poland, specifically within Opatów county in the historic region of Lesser Poland. As of December 31, 2021, the town had a population of 10,399 inhabitants. It is situated in the eastern part of the province, approximately fifteen kilometers west of the Vistula river.
The town was originally granted its town charter in 1569 during the Polish Golden Age. Although it lost its town status in 1869, Ożarów regained its charter in 1988. The town's coat of arms is Rawa, which was historically used by the Ozarowski family.
