Opatowiec is a town located in Kazimierza County within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in southern Poland. It serves as the seat of Gmina Opatowiec and is situated in the Lesser Poland region on the left bank of the River Vistula. The town is positioned approximately 18 km east of Kazimierza Wielka and 73 km south of Kielce, along National Road Nr. 79, which connects Warsaw and Bytom.

The settlement regained its urban status on January 1, 2019, making it the smallest town in Poland with a population of only 338 inhabitants. Notable local points of interest include a central park and a Dominican church dating back to the 15th century.
