Koprzywnica is a town situated in Sandomierz County within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship of Poland. Located in the Lesser Poland region, it sits along the Koprzywianka river and serves as an established urban center with a population of 2,546 inhabitants as of 2004.
The town is recognized as one of the oldest urban centers in the province. It is positioned along National Road Nr. 79, which connects Kraków to Sandomierz, and lies on the Tarnobrzeg Route of the historic Lesser Polish Way of St. James.
