Kielce is a city located in south-central Poland. It serves as the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and is situated in the northern portion of the historical Polish province of Lesser Poland.
The city is positioned in the middle of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains on the banks of the Silnica River. As of 2021, Kielce had a population of 192,468 inhabitants.
