Bliżyn is a village located in south-central Poland within the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. It serves as the administrative seat of Gmina Bliżyn and is situated in Skarżysko County.
The village is positioned along the Kamienna river and the Bliżyn Reservoir. Geographically, it lies approximately 12 km west of Skarżysko-Kamienna and about 27 km north of Kielce, which is the regional capital.
