Bielsko-Biała is a city located in the Silesian Voivodeship in southern Poland. As of December 2022, it has a population of approximately 166,765, making it the 22nd largest city in the country. The city covers an area of 124.51 km² (48.07 sq mi) and serves as the core of a broader metropolitan area with roughly 335,000 inhabitants.

The city functions as the seat for several administrative and religious entities, including Bielsko County and the Euroregion Beskydy. It also serves as the headquarters for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bielsko–Żywiec and the Evangelical Church Diocese of Cieszyn.
