Hajnówka is a town and the seat of Hajnówka County located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship in eastern Poland. As of 2014, the town had a population of 21,442 inhabitants. It is situated along the river Leśna Prawa.
The town is notable for its proximity to the Białowieża Forest, which is recognized as the largest primeval forest in Europe. Additionally, Hajnówka serves as a significant center for Belarusian culture in Poland and is one of the region's centers of the Orthodox faith. In 2002, Belarusians constituted 26.4% of the town's population.
