Augustów is a town located in north-eastern Poland within the Podlaskie Voivodeship. It serves as the administrative seat for both Augustów County and Gmina Augustów. The town covers a total area of 80.90 square kilometres.
Geographically, the town is situated along the Netta River and the Augustów Canal. As of June 2022, the population of Augustów was recorded at 29,305 residents.
