Kolbuszowa is a small town located in south-eastern Poland within the Subcarpathian Voivodship. It serves as the capital of Kolbuszowa County and is situated in the Sandomierz Forest region.
The town belongs to the historic region of Lesser Poland and is positioned near the border with the historical area of Czerwień Cities, also known as Red Ruthenia. As of June 2, 2009, the population of Kolbuszowa was recorded at 88,911 inhabitants.
