Iwonicz-Zdrój is a spa town situated in south-eastern Poland within the Subcarpathian Voivodship and Krosno County. As of June 2, 2009, the town had a population of 1,831 inhabitants. It is located in the heartland of the Doły (Pits) region at an average altitude of 410 metres above sea level, though it features various hills within its boundaries.
The town is recognized as one of the oldest health resorts in Poland. Its geographical setting and historical status as a spa destination are its primary defining characteristics.
