Korfantow

Korfantów is a town located in the Opole Voivodeship in southwestern Poland. As of 2019, the municipality had a population of 1,808 inhabitants.

The town was formerly known as Fryląd, a name that remains in use today. In 1946, it was officially renamed Korfantów to honor Wojciech Korfanty, a Polish politician and activist.
