Rembertów is a district located in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. Historically, it functioned as an independent town between 1939 and 1957 before being incorporated into the borough of Praga-Południe. The area later served as a separate commune known as Warszawa-Rembertów from 1994 to 2002.
The district is notable for its history during the mid-20th century, specifically in the 1940s when it served as a site for a prison. This facility was operated by Nazi forces and subsequently by Soviet authorities.
