Mszczonów is a town located in central Poland within the Masovian Voivodeship. It is situated in Żyrardów County and lies just outside the Warsaw metropolitan area, at a distance of approximately 45 km (28 mi) from the center of Warsaw.
As of the 2006 census, the town had a population of 6,231 inhabitants. It serves as a residential and administrative locality in the region surrounding the Polish capital.
