Kołbiel is a village located in Otwock County within the Masovian Voivodeship of east-central Poland. It serves as the administrative seat of Gmina Kołbiel.
The settlement was granted city rights by King Sigismund I Old in 1532. However, it lost its official city status in 1869 following a tsarist decree.
