Józefów is a town located in east-central Poland within the Masovian Voivodeship. It is situated in Otwock County and falls within the Warsaw metropolitan area.
The town is positioned at the confluence of the Vistula and Świder rivers. Its geography includes one landscape reserve and three natural reservation zones. As of 2006, the population of Józefów was 18,157 inhabitants.
