Bemowo is a district located on the western edge of Warsaw, Poland. It covers an area of 24.95 km² and was inhabited by 128,895 people in 2024, ranking as the city's eighth-largest and seventh most populous district. The district borders Bielany to the north, Wola and Żoliborz to the east, and Ursus and Włochy to the south, while its western boundary serves as the city limit bordering the municipalities of Ożarów Mazowiecki and Stare Babice.
The area is primarily characterized by residential zones, specifically high-rise multifamily housing estates such as Nowe Bemowo, Górce, Chrzanów, Górczewska, Jelonki, and Lazurowa. It also contains several low-rise single-family neighborhoods in the northwest and southeast sections of the district. Notable landmarks and infrastructure within Bemowo include the Warsaw Babice Airport, the campus of the Military University of Technology, and the Bemowo metro station, with additional stations currently under construction.
