Zawoja is a village located in southern Poland within Sucha County. It is situated close to Maków Podhalański and, along with its neighboring village of Skawica, constitutes the rural Zawoja Commune.
The village is notable for its size and geography, housing approximately 7,400 inhabitants. It is recognized as one of the largest villages in Poland and is considered one of the longest, stretching for about 19 kilometers along a picturesque mountain valley.
