Mszana Dolna is a town located in Limanowa County within the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of Poland. Situated approximately 50 kilometres south of Kraków, the town lies within a deep valley among the hills of the western Beskids. It is surrounded by several mountain ranges, including the Gorce Mountains, which contain the Gorce National Park.
The town sits along National Road Nr. 28, a west–east route connecting Zator to Przemyśl. As of 2002, Mszana Dolna covered an area of 27.1 square kilometres, with forests accounting for 50% of the land and arable land making up 36%. The population was recorded at 7,431 inhabitants in 2004.
