Krzeszowice is a town located in southern Poland within the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is part of the Kraków Metropolitan Area and is situated approximately 25 kilometers west of the center of Kraków.
The town serves as a transit point, featuring a rail station on the major route between Kraków and Katowice and lying along National Road Nr. 79, which connects Warsaw to Bytom. Historically, Krzeszowice held the status of a spa from 1928 to 1966.
As of 2004, the town had a population of 9,993 residents. It is also home to the sports club Świt, which was founded in 1923.
