Alwernia is a town located in the Chrzanów County within the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of Poland. It is situated approximately 36 kilometres west of the city of Kraków.
The town covers a total area of 8.88 square kilometres. As of June 2022, Alwernia had a recorded population of 3,284 residents.
