Skwierzyna is a town located in western Poland within the Lubusz Voivodeship. It serves as the administrative seat of the Gmina Skwierzyna. As of December 31, 2023, the town had a population of 9,078 inhabitants.
The town is situated at the confluence of the Obra and Warta rivers. Geographically, it lies approximately 18 km north of Międzyrzecz and 23 km southeast of the regional capital, Gorzów Wielkopolski. The surrounding area is characterized by a green landscape featuring extensive forests and numerous lakes.
