Lublin is a city in eastern Poland and serves as the capital and center of the Lublin Voivodeship. It is currently the eighth-largest city in the country and holds the distinction of being the second-largest city within historical Lesser Poland.
Located approximately 153 km (95 mi) southeast of Warsaw, Lublin is the largest Polish city situated east of the Vistula River. The city has a population of 336,339 residents.
