Kurow is a small town situated in the Waitaki District of New Zealand. It is located on the south bank of the Waitaki River, approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Oamaru.
The name Kurow is an Anglicised version of Te Kohurau, which is the Māori name for a nearby mountain.
