Biłgoraj is a town located in the Lublin Voivodeship in south-eastern Poland. It serves as the capital of Biłgoraj County and is situated to the south of the city of Lublin. Historically, the town is part of the Lesser Poland region.

As of December 2021, the town has a population of 25,838 inhabitants. Geographically, Biłgoraj is characterized by its surrounding forest and is intersected by three different rivers.
