The Warta is a river located in central Poland. It originates in the interior of the country and meanders across the Polish Plain, flowing in a north-westerly direction until it reaches the Oder at Kostrzyn nad Odrą on the border with Germany.
Measuring approximately 808.2 kilometres (502.2 mi) in length, the Warta is the second-longest river within Poland's borders and the third-longest overall after the Oder. Its drainage basin encompasses an area of 54,529 square kilometers (21,054 sq mi). The river is navigable for approximately half of its length, specifically from Kostrzyn nad Odrą to Konin.
