Skierniewice is a city located in central Poland within the Łódź Voivodeship. As of 2023, the city has a population of 45,184 inhabitants and serves as the capital of Skierniewice County.

The town is situated along the small river Łupia, which is also commonly referred to as the Skierniewka. It functions as a regional administrative center in the central Polish landscape.
