Grabow

Grabow is a town located in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is situated approximately 7 kilometres southeast of the city of Ludwigslust and serves as the seat of the Amt Grabow collective municipality. The town is also considered part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region.

The old town of Grabow is characterized by its 16th-century timber-framed architecture, with the river Elde passing through the area. Historically, the town was home to a royal residence where several monarchs of the Mecklenburg line were born.
