Kruszwica is a town located in central Poland within the Inowrocław County of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Situated on the shores of Gopło Lake, it lies in the historic region of Kuyavia and had a recorded population of 9,161 as of 2010.
Founded initially in the 6th century, Kruszwica is recognized as the oldest town in its region. The settlement features notable historical architecture, including a medieval castle that houses a Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century.
