Chełmno is a town located in northern Poland near the Vistula river. Historically, it was known as Culm in both German and English. As of December 2021, the town has a population of 18,915 inhabitants.
The town serves as the seat of Chełmno County within the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. It remains a recognized administrative center for the surrounding region.
