Siechnice is a town located in Wrocław County within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of south-western Poland. It serves as the administrative seat of Gmina Siechnice and is situated within the broader Wrocław metropolitan area. As of 2019, the town has a population of 8,113 residents.
The municipality gained its official town status in 1997. Historically, the district was known as Gmina Święta Katarzyna; notably, Siechnice was previously the only town in Poland that neither provided the name for the gmina in which it was located nor served as its administrative seat.
