Pińsk is a town located in Zgorzelec County within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in south-western Poland. It serves as the administrative seat of Gmina Pieńsk. The town is situated on the east bank of the Lusatian Neisse river, which serves as the international border between Poland and Germany.
As of 2019, Pińsk has a population of 5,828 residents. Historically, the area was considered part of Upper Lusatia, though it became more closely associated with Lower Silesia starting in the early 14th century and again from 1815.
