Talhar is a town and administrative Tehsil (also known as a Taluka) located in the Badin District of Sindh, Pakistan. It is situated approximately 240 kilometres east of Karachi.
As an administrative subdivision unit within the Badin District, the Talhar Taluka is organized into six union councils. The area includes two specific town committees: Talhar and Khaskheli. According to the 2025 census, the population of the town is 200,014.
