Mithi is a city located in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It serves as the administrative capital and district headquarters of the Tharparkar District, a status it officially assumed in 1990 following the area's separation from Mirpur Khas.

The city is notable for its demographic composition, being one of the few locations in Pakistan where Hindus constitute the majority of the population. Approximately 77% of Mithi's residents belong to the Hindu community. Despite this demographic makeup, both Hindus and Muslims live peacefully in the city with no reported instances of religious intolerance.
