Mangla

Mangla is a town located in District Mirpur within the region of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is situated in the western foothills of Mangla's fort and is geographically defined by its proximity to significant water bodies.

The town is surrounded on three sides by the semicurvature of the river Jhelum, which flows from north to south. It shares borders with the Jhelum district and the right bank of the Mangla reservoir, which sits on the boundary between Azad Kashmir and the Punjab province of Pakistan.
